Arrival at Trivandrum & stay at Trivandrum
Arrival at Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station. Check-in and relax. Depending on arrival time, enjoy leisure time or Overnight stay at Trivandrum. (D)
Trivandrum – Jatayu Park – Alleppy
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. En route, visit the spectacular Jatayu Earth’s Center (Jatayu Nature Park), home to the world’s largest bird sculpture. The magnificent Jatayu sculpture measures approximately 200 feet in length, 150 feet in width, and 70 feet in height, making it one of Kerala’s most iconic attractions. Enjoy the scenic surroundings and panoramic views from the hilltop. Later, continue your journey to Alleppey. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Alleppey. (BLD)
Alleppy – Thekkady
Today, proceed to Periyar (Thekkady). En route, enjoy the famous Kerala Backwaters ride, sailing through serene waterways while admiring the scenic beauty of lush paddy fields, swaying coconut trees, and charming village landscapes. Upon arrival at Periyar, enjoy free time for shopping at Kumily Spice Village, known for its aromatic spices, handicrafts, and local products. In the evening, experience the vibrant and traditional Kathakali Show, showcasing Kerala’s rich cultural heritage through dance and storytelling. Periyar – Munnar
Today, visit the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the most popular national parks in India and renowned as an elephant and tiger reserve. The sanctuary is home to around 35 species of mammals, including tiger, Indian elephant, gaur, sambar deer, wild pig, Indian giant squirrel, jungle cat, and many more. Explore the sanctuary with a scenic boat ride on Periyar Lake (subject to availability), offering an opportunity to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. Later, proceed to Munnar, a picturesque hill station well known for its lush green hills, sprawling tea plantations, misty valleys, and pleasant climate. Munnar
Today, visit the scenic Mattupetty Dam, located near Sun Moon Valley, surrounded by beautiful hills and lush greenery. Later, proceed to Echo Point, a popular attraction known for its natural echo phenomenon and breathtaking views of the misty hills and valleys. Continue to the Tea Museum, where you can learn about the history and process of tea cultivation and tea-making in Munnar. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Munnar. (BLD)
Munnar – Guruwayoor – kaladi - Guruvayur
Today, proceed towards Guruvayur. En route, visit the sacred town of Kalady, the birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya, and visit the revered Sringeri Mutt, an important spiritual center. Later, continue to Guruvayur and visit the famous Guruvayur Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and popularly worshipped as Lord Krishna (Guruvayurappan). It is one of the most important pilgrimage centers for Hindus in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, attracting devotees from across the country. After darshan and sightseeing, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay at Guruvayur. (BLD)
Guruvayur - Cochin Local and departure
After breakfast, proceed to Cochin and visit the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets and St. Francis Church at Fort Kochi, one of the oldest European churches in India, known for its historical and cultural significance. Later, transfer to the Railway Station/Airport for your return journey. Departure at 9:00 PM (ETD 9:00 PM). (BLD)
