Itinerary
Arrive Hubali - Sirsi (60 kms)
Morning arrival at Hubli Railway Station / Airport at approximately 08:00 AM (ETA). After arrival, proceed towards Sirsi by road. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the famous Sri Marikamba Temple, a prominent and revered Shakti temple in Karnataka known for its rich history and spiritual significance. Later, return to the hotel, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay at Sirsi.
Sirsi – Unchelli Falls (80 kms) - Sirsi
After breakfast visit Unchelli Fall. one of the biggest tourist attractions near Sirsi. The waterfall has a 116 meter drop and offers spectacular views at all times of the year (Unchelli Fall is possible only after October). Evening visit Sahastralinga is another place of significance, where sculptures carved from stone are installed in the middle of a flowing river. The river is surrounded by lush green forest; the place is about 10 km away from Sirsi. After lunch visit Banvasi the capital of an ancient Kingdom in Karnataka which was ruled by the Kadamba Dynasty. Banavasi is considered as the "first" capital of Karnataka state, with the current capital being Banglore. Although most of the ancient grandeur of the dynasty in Banavasi has been lost, an ancient temple for Madhukeshwara (Lord Shiva) is still largely intact, and has been declared a monument of historical importance by the Archaeological Survey of India. It is also considered as Dakshin Kashi. Here we will see Monolith Asthana Mantapa and Triloka Mantapa.Dinner & Night stay at Sirsi.
Sirsi – Gokarna – Sirsi
After breakfast, proceed to visit the famous Yana Caves, known for their striking black limestone rock formations set amidst dense evergreen forests. The site is also popular for its natural beauty and peaceful surroundings. Later, proceed towards Gokarna, a sacred coastal town known for its ancient temples and serene beaches. After sightseeing, return to Sirsi for an overnight stay. ( BLD)
Sirsi - Jog falls - Murudeshwar
After breakfast, proceed to visit the magnificent Jog Falls (Gerosoppa Falls), the second-highest plunge waterfall in India, where the Sharavathi River cascades down from a great height, offering a spectacular view. Later, continue to Murudeshwar for sightseeing. Visit the famous Murudeshwar Temple, home to the world’s second-tallest Shiva statue, along with the beautiful beachside surroundings overlooking the Arabian Sea. After sightseeing, check in to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay at Murudeshwar. (BLD)
Murdeshwara
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Shirali, a peaceful coastal town known for its spiritual significance and serene environment. Later, continue towards Udupi, one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Karnataka. Visit the famous Sri Krishna Temple, known for its unique deity darshan through the window (Kanakana Kindi), along with other local sightseeing as time permits. After sightseeing, return to Murudeshwar for an overnight stay. (BLD)
Murdeshwar – Hubali ( 130 Km ) & proceed to Pune / mumbai
After breakfast, visit the sacred Edgunji Ganapati Temple, an important pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Ganesha, known for its peaceful surroundings and spiritual significance. Later, proceed towards Hubli Railway Station / Airport for your return journey, carrying wonderful memories of the tour. (BL) ETD 3 PM
