Guwahati Arrival - Shillong
Upon arrival in Guwahati drive to Shillong - known as the ‘Scotland of the East’. En-route you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake View Point – you can opt for some thrilling water sports in the lake and Cathedral of Merry Church. Evening free for leisure. O/N stay in Shillong.
Excursion To Cherrapunjee
Today drive to Cherrapunji (65km) – the wettest place on the earth. En-route visit Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak at Shillong. At Cherrapunji visit Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sister Falls & Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunji drive back to Shillong. O/N stay in Shillong.
Excursion To Dawki - Mawlynnong
This morning proceed for Dawki (120Km/3hrs) near Bangladesh border and Mawlynnong (90km/2hrs. approx), this little colourful village is known for its cleanliness. Explore the Root Bridge, and Natural Balancing Rock. Back to Shillong. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Shillong.
Shillong – Kaziranga National Park (310km)
After Breakfast, proceed for Kaziranga National Park (310km) – a World Heritage Site and Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 430 sq km. It is the home to more than 80% of world’s Rhino population. O/N stay at Kaziranga.
Kaziranga National Park
Today morning go for an exclusive jeep safari in the central range of the Park Later visit Orchid Park, Tea Garden and shopping at the local handloom market.O/N at Kaziranga
Kaziranga – Bomdila / Dirang
Today drive to Bomdila/Dirang – the headquarter of west Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. Check in at hotel. O/N at Bomdila / Dirang.
Bomdila / Dirang – Tawang (180km /9-10hrs Approx)
This morning after breakfast drive to visit Bomdila Monastery, then proceed to Tawang – the land of Monpa Tribes & major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second-highest pass – THE SELA PASS (13,700ft) which run through a small ridge & along a lake called PARADISE LAKE. And visit JASWANTGARH, a memorial to the brave soldier who single tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during 1962 Indo-Chinese war. On arrival check-in hotel. O/N at Tawang.
Tawang Sightseeing
After Breakfast, visit the PENGA TEN TSO Lake (P.T.S.O.), Madhuri Lake, Bumla Pass (subject to weather condition). Later visit Tawang Monastery, the Monastery is 400 years old and adorned with the 18 ft. High statue of Lord Buddha. Also visit the very famous Tawang War Memorial. Evening free for leisure. O/N stay in Tawang.
Tawang – Dirang / Bomdila (200km/8-9hrs)
After breakfast drive to Dirang. On the way enjoy the beauty and majesty of Jung Water Fall and visit Kiwi Garden ( Seasonal ) at Dirang valley. On arrival at Dirang check in hotel and overnight stay at Dirang.
Bomdila - Guwahati ( 300 Kms / 9 Hrs Approx )
After Breakfast transfer to Guwahati. Check in to your hotel. Evening you are free for leisure. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Guwahati – Departure to hometown.
After breakfast visit to Kamakhya temple, and After Lunch Enjoy Brahmputra River Cruise & Now It’s time now to say goodbye. Transfer to Guwahati airport for return flight to your hometown. Tour Concludes. ( B L )
